Mission Beach
Our Mission Beach site provides our students with rich, hands-on immersive learning opportunities to connect with each other and develop lifelong skills.
Located in northern Queensland, Mission Beach is a base for our Year 10 students while they undertake their three-week Zero Journey.
The Zero Journey is one component of the Carey Zero program which has been designed by our educators and industry experts to empower students to develop resilience, build character and enhance connection to themselves, their peers and the world around them.
During their Zero Journey expeditions, students actively participate in wildlife conservation, marine research and community initiatives in northern Queensland. Our Mission Beach site is a welcoming home away from home for our students and their Zero Mentors during their expeditions, offering comfortable spaces for them to reflect and recharge with each other.
